The Clarissa Dress is a sweet, empire waist dress inspired by centuries old French sewing design.  It has a lovely pleated front bodice, and button closure in the back.  The sleeves can be made in either short or long length and are accented by a pretty little ruffle.  This dress is perfect to sew in any season.  It can be dressed up or dressed down depending upon your fabric choice.  It would be perfect for a delicate little flower girl dress in batiste or dupioni, or perhaps a pretty floral print for Easter is what you are envisioning.  Sew it up in a lightweight denim or corduroy for back to school in the fall. Perhaps satin for a Christmas dress. You could even choose your favorite fun print for a simple play dress.  The choices are numerous.

The tiles contain full size pattern pieces for the dress and must be trimmed and taped together.  Some of the smaller sizes do not require you to print all 32 tiles, but the larger sizes will require all the tiles to be printed. 

All measurements are given in both Imperial and Metric and the pattern is printable on both US Letter and A4 paper.
